In Andorra there is a spot where the lakes merge with the sky and the grass covers the valleys scored with daffodils. A spot where adrenaline runs in the rivers and up the mountains. A spot where the food is tempting and the stones tell tales from a distant past.
Encamp is in the heart of Andorra: just a few minutes from the capital but, in turn, far from noise and traffic. Inhabitants are spread over two centres: Encamp and Pas de la Casa.
The urban centre of Encamp combines tradition and modernity where visitors can see Romanesque buildings alongside 21st-century constructions. Its location at 1,250 metres high and, literally, at the foot of the pistes has made it a centre for adventure sports and activities in summer and a renowned winter snow destination.
Pas de la Casa offers one of the best shopping centres in the Principality and the best winter sports resort for skiing in the Pyrenees. The Parish is home to many services. The restaurants and hotels make it ideal for spending a family holiday or with friends but also if coming for work. Days can be intense in Encamp but the tranquil nights will restore energy. If you come for the night, you will sleep like a baby!
